Yue Zeng is a Chinese-American self-taught artist, mother, and wife, who has been living in the United States since 2008 and currently resides in Woodbury, Minnesota.
I love the appearance of hybrid big cat. I wanted to create one myself and actually painted it. I started with regular ginger color tiger. I put on male lion’s hair and changed stripes to snow leopard’s spots. I saved some spots as solid as cheetah. It also has tiger's face and albino color.
Zeng’s artistic practice focuses on oil painting, with her subjects mainly being mythical creatures and animals.
I love barn owl since the movie <Guardians of Ga'hoole>. I love watching the young male barn owl flew over flames and through water droplets. I finally manage to paint one.
