Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“My work seeks to create a moment that encompasses the body and the mind to communicate the essence of a feeling.”

I want to create art that turns the surreal into the real.

A short story in the style of vintage anatomical illustration.

I am drawn to that which is strange and liminal but oddly familiar.

Altar of Cups

Animation

$320

A virtual altar representing the element of water, drawing from western and eastern esoteric symbolism.

My work seeks to create a moment that encompasses the body and the mind to communicate the essence of a feeling.

Even if something is indescribable maybe it can be recognizable.

Visualization of emotion is what fuels my inspiration.

As such it is touch and go – I need to express myself artistically in order to handle the ups and downs I have, but frequently I simply do not have the energy to get out of bed.

I need to express myself artistically in order to handle the ups and downs I have…

The first in a series focusing on the body. A composite of natural elements, soft and hard and in-between, drawing from our surrounding environments. A state of peace.

These are works of dreams that I have been nesting since my last frenzy. I hope to reach resonance with others.

The second in a series focusing on the body. Centers on the senses and bone structure. A prison.

Frequently I simply do not have the energy to get out of bed.

Describe your image

The third and final in a series focusing on the body. Uses miscellaneous manmade artifacts. A hectic state.

Sometimes I find that energy. The dams break and the work comes flooding out.

A cycle of twenty different renderings of emotional states illustrated as figures or objects operating in a single room.

These are works of dreams that I have been nesting since my last frenzy. I hope to reach resonance with others.

A figure that represents the spaces we call home at different elevations.

Even if something is indescribable maybe it can be recognizable.

Born out of a period of stasis, this little piece took two years to call done, from conception to the final state here.

This is a glimpse of what lives inside my head. Perhaps you’ve seen it before yourself.

First in a series of two, visualizing dissociation and detachment. The chest.
