Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“Her works highlight the connection between nature and the human body. They depict her thoughts, feelings, and life perspective.”

Inbal Kristin is a multidisciplinary artist, born on March 21th, 1980, based in Ashkelon, Israel. Since childhood she was fond of art. From the sixth grade she studied at an art school. She got a Bache-lor’s degree in Social Sciences and Humanities at the Open university and a diploma in Media de-sign at the Ashkelon academy. A number of years Inbal worked in an elementary school. Children are, by nature, very curious and creative and she really enjoyed working with them.

This work consists of photography and digital editing
Passion can make you do amazing things. Passion is an emotion that needs to be acted upon. Without action, passion does not yield worthy results.it can be in any area of life. Passion is the fuel of the fire of doing.

She creates works mainly by combining different art forms: painting, photography and digital edit-ing while adding various materials from nature and everyday life. As George Bernard Shaw famously said, “You use a glass mirror to see your face, you use works of art to see your soul.” She considers art to be a gateway to discover meaning and find significance, to express oneself and one’s world outlook.

This work combines all the areas I love to engage in: photography, drawing and digital editing. The work process consisted of three steps: first I drew with a black pen on a page, then I photographed it and finally digitally edited it.
I chose the color red because it has a huge impact on our emotions and perceptions. It is an intense color that is packed with emotion ranging from passionate, intense love to anger and violence. It is a hot, strong, stimulating color that represents excitement an

Inbal has a wide range of works on various topics: landscape photography, street photography, ani-mal photography and abstract photography. However, the majority of her works is mixed media and digital art. For her the creation of an artwork is the re-formation and transformation of pre-existing materials.

“She has always incorporated art into work in every way possible.”

She loves to walk in nature, notice and capture the unusual. She pays special attention to the colors, shapes, light and shadow, and nature textures. In her work she often intermingles acrylic painting on canvas and adds daily nature sources such as flowers, plants, beads, papers, aluminum foil. After painting in acrylic on canvas and placing the various materials on it, she scans it and edits the image on a computer and if necessary, combines it with other photos she has taken.

“By sharing how you see the world, you provide a new perspective for other people to consider. It is a powerful feeling to witness my artwork making others feel or think something.”

Sometimes paintings are combined with landscape photographs or body photographs. She almost never knows what the work will look like in the end, she edits them on the computer until her eye “feels” that this is the way the work should look, that's the feeling it wants to provoke.

This work is a combination of painting in acrylic on canvas combined with pasting other materials like papers, napkins and threads, then photography and finally digital editing on a computer.

“Inbal regards thinking and feeling to be the most important things for an artist. Art is a reflection of our inner world - our thoughts and beliefs, our feelings and emotions, our loves.”

This work consists of sunset photography and a photograph of the buildings that can be seen from the balcony of Inbal's house. Much manipulation has been done here in digital edting In order to convey the feeling that Inbal wanted.

Inbal believes there are no rules in art. Every artwork is a self-expression. The secret is to allow yourself to feel fully and completely, to allow your emotions to guide while creating. Art is essential for physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. For her there is always a catharsis that comes after releasing all the emotions that have been bottled up for so long.

This work consists of a combination of two photographs that Inbal took and digital editing.soulmate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity. This may involve love, romance, relationships, intimacy, spirituality, compatibility and trust.Every person's ambition is to eventually find his soul mate. Which not everyone gets to achieve

Inbal says art for her is like therapy. It opens one’s heart and mind to possibilities, fuels the imagi-nation, reduces stress, makes one more attentive. Sometimes art can help me to discover and under-stand things about yourself myself that I never recognized before.

In the series of works I (body and soul 1,2,3,4,5) she used photography, painting and computer graphics
In addition inbal used materials like beads and aluminum foil. The final result is digital

Inbal claims that everything she sees, thinks, and experiences has the potential to inspire her artistic creation. At the same time music, nature and sports inspire her. She always feels the music she lis-tens to goes along with the pictures she captures: "I’ve always listened to music while taking pic-tures or editing my pictures, music produces strong emotional responses and helps me with my cre-ative process.

inbal likes researching shapes and textures of materials, it can be materials from nature or materials that exist in everyone's home
she always edit everything on the computer to convey the feeling she wanted and change colors or shapes in a way that seems most interesting to her.
she likes to walk in nature and in all her works there is always a mention of things from nature: plants, trees, flowers.

“Art gives other people a new perspective.”

Recently she started researching the subject of self-identity, the human body and in all works(body and soul 1,2,3,4,5)sheI used my her own self-study of her body.

She also likes running and many of her ideas arise while running. As a runner she has a particular appreciation for the sights and sounds, the light she sees while running. It brings her closer to na-ture and creates a sort of flow. It’s as if running creates a new space where thoughts can appear.

the work is three-dimensional (cardboard) and framed in a high-quality object frame with anti-reflective glass.

Inbal has won several competitions and awards and participated in several exhibitions, bien-nials and international festivals around the world: Hungary, Greece, Spain, France, Switzerland, Is-rael, Hong Kong, Philippines, Nepal, Scotland and especially in Italy: Milan, Rome, Genoa, Venice, Turin, Palermo, Gattinara and, Varallo.

she believe that the works always reflect the mindset of the artist. When she made this series of works she was during a self-exploration of my identity, my feelings

“There are no special thoughts about what the final work will look like, the end result comes after a process of experimentation, wonder and research.”
