Elena González

SPAIN

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“She has always been an art fan, from a very young age she spent hours painting and drawing.”

Elena González Muñoyerro is a twenty-seven-years old mixed media artist born in Ponferrada (Spain), who graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca (Spain). She is currently living in London and working as an Art teacher in a SEND School while she works on her own art projects independently.

This painting uses led light to mimic the moonlight and to give a subjective meaning to the woman's body, expressing the light and the dark parts that are in everybody's life.

She decided that she wanted to dedicate her life to the art world when she was a teenager, so she studied the Bachelor of Arts and then studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca (Spain). She has done several art exhibitions in London, Spain, and Italy.

She works with many different disciplines and she likes to mix all of them in the same piece of work most of the time, in order to create new effects. Inspiring, yet grounding, her art plays with the union of paradox: ethereal, light and shadow; structure and intuition; beauty found in imperfection.
