Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“I love realism and I use a lot of photography to create my art.”

I’m a disabled self-taught award-winning artist and now an inspirational artist. I’ve had many miracles and I feel I’m being guided by God in my life and I’m alive to tell my story and share my art with the world and inspire others like me. I feel that this is my purpose here on earth and it has become my goal in life.

I was inspired to draw A Mother’s love by looking at the work of a famous artist child prodigy Akiane Kramarik and old masters Madonna and child. It has always been mine and my mother’s favorite art. My in ability to have children throughout my life due to my many health issues I decided to create his piece.

One of my favorite mediums to work with is pastels. I love pastels so much that it had become the medium of my choice. I also work in oils, acrylics, graphite, gouache and colored pencils.

I created Siena in the wild because of my lover wildlife and leopards. This is one of the biggest of my drawings that I’ve ever created. And a lot of the vegetation you see around the leopard CD comes from my imagination.

My inspiration to become an artist came from Akiane Kramarik a child prodigy artist. She painted Jesus at the age of eight. Her story is so fascinating that it inspired me to work hard and become a self-taught artist.

“I love to draw and paint realistically.”

I have Elhers Danlos Syndrome that caused me kyphosis scoliosis since birth. I wasn’t diagnosed with this rare genetic illness until 2015. My spine collapsed twice and I’m lucky to be alive. I’ve endured over 10 operations since the age of 10. I have two rods and 26 screws holding my spine. It seems like my disease is no longer progressing which is another miracle.

“I discovered my passion for fine arts seven years ago when I almost lost my life once again.”

I love to draw and paint nature, animals and wildlife and people, animals, and kids, landscapes and architectural pieces in mediums such as oils, acrylics gouache, graphite, charcoal and colored pencils.

I created Noyan because one of my favorite things to draw his children. He is the son of a good friend of mine and I love the picture and I decided to depict him in a winter scene.

“I began exhibiting my art in 2017 and I have been accepted in over 60 juried shows and since then I have won over thirty awards.”

The inspiration to draw selfish love came from a Spanish soap opera my mother and I watched years ago. It was one of the best soap operas we’ve ever seen and I decided to recently draw the characters of the soap opera

I have a true love for realistic art. I find animals beautiful and interesting because of all the different textures and fur they have. I love trying to capture the animals in drawing their expressions especially.

I was inspired to draw this old couple getting all together because they remind me of my grandparents who I never had a chance to grow up with. They lived in Italy and we live in the US and I never got a chance to really spend time with them. There’s remind me so much of them that I decided to depict them as my own grandparents.

I discovered my love for pastels three years ago and I’ve created over 85 pieces in this time frame. In seven years, I’ve created over 130 pieces of art.

I depicted a koala and its baby right after the Australian fires. This koala was rescued from the fires of Australia along with its baby I found the photograph so touching that I needed to draw this to draw attention as well to the world. I didn’t make some changes from the original photograph.

I have severe learning disabilities and memory problems due to illness and physical disabilities. My spine collapsed in 2006 due to my genetic disorder. I live with some pain. I’ve endured over 10 operations since the age of 10. I have two rods and 26 screws holding my spine.

I drew Ricky the raccoon because I really love raccoons. I think they have the most adorable face. I love that they have expressive eyes and they catch my attention so I decided to detect a raccoon.

“Photography is another passion I discovered as well.”

I wanted to try to draw a still life in this piece for the first time and decided to depict lemon and limes against a dark marble background.

I try to do my art every day as also a form of therapy and because I have found my passion late in life. I now believe it’s never too late to do what you love. I never knew I had this ability.

My love of nature inspired me to draw and depict these beautiful leaves that look like stars in nature

I’m discovering every day what I’m actually able to do. I have been close to death so many times in my life so I feel incredibly grateful, fortunate and blessed to be here alive and walking and creating art every day.

My love for pets inspired me to draw this beautiful little pug. I also love the expression on his face and it really drew me to depict him.

“I’m truly a walking miracle and today I am thrilled to be creating art.”
