“There are numerous ways to learn something, and my favorite is through experience.”

Atila Salviano is a 22-year-old emerging digital artist from Brazil. It all started when he started to go to the cinema and it became an adventure for him. He loves going to premieres, and also researching movies to understand how film production works.

Two astronauts trapped in a falling space station decide to spend their final minutes together, listening to some music and giving one last kiss.

One day he watched a movie that really changed his life, and did not let him sleep for few nights. It made him understand how wonderful it is to be able to work as an artist. The name of the movie was Interstellar. After he watched the magnificent movie, Atila realized that his imaginary world could become ‘real’. His favorite scene from the movie was a creation of a tesseract in space where the character could see his past, this scene blew his mind with its realism.

The Togruta Slave is a female character inspired by the Star Wars universe. The Togruta humanoid species is known for the large organic head formations upon their heads and the skin that spans a vast array of colors.

He realized that it was possible to create another world, a world that only exists in his head, and transforms it into a movie capable of making people believe that the world is real. It is not possible to describe with words how amazing it was for Atila to realize that he could show an imaginary world on a movie screen! It's all visual effects, but when the audience watches it, they believe it's ‘real’. That's what he wants to do in his life, there's nothing better!

“Learning is a continuous experience that happens every day.”

While interested in film, Atila’s passion for 3D modeling blossomed a long time ago when he started building model kits with his father at the age of 9. He helped to build Star Wars spaceships, old-school cars, racing cars, airplanes, tanks, pirate ships and so on. He fell in love with the process of building things he wanted to do that for movies. Later, he began to take Computer Graphics classes to pursue a VFX career by studying at SAGA (School of Art, Game and Animation).

“Every personal project that I make, has its unique challenges and obstacles, and overcoming them makes me a better artist for the next project.”

The Golden Triceratops is the head of an extinct herbivorous chasmosaurine ceratopsid dinosaur from 68 million years ago.

During his learning process, he had the opportunity to not only learn the digital 3D sculpting but also the traditional sculpting, which helped him a lot to understand form and proportions. With his unbreakable commitment to his work, he has brought his modeling, texturing, rendering, animating, and sculpting skills to a higher professional level.

The Kawecyber Robot was an extensive project. Inspired by cyberpunk colors and exoskeletons, Kawecyber is a fully autonomous robot with its own conscience and thinking.

The Kawecyber Hand is part of the Kawecyber robot. The hand is the agile part of the body, so Kawecyber's hand has all the pieces and functionalities to make that possible.

He realized that working digitally has a constant troubleshooting involved, sometimes it’s related to the software, and sometimes related to the art aspect. However, there’s no better feeling for Atila when he finishes a project just how he wanted it to look and thinks about all the obstacles that he had to overcome during the process.
