Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“I believe that everyone has fascinating shining points, such as someone with a gentle temperament, someone with a rough personality, etc. It is not a simple matter to make it appear in front of the audience through the language of painting.”

Amy Jiang lives in a small city in China. She has loved painting since childhood, but she became a doctor for family reasons. However, she still did not give up her self-study and creation of painting. She learnt a variety of painting media through online courses and Art Tutorials, including color pencil, pastel, oil painting, etc., and tried the possibility of multiple media. Each painting material has its own advantages, which makes the creative process fresh and interesting, full of exploration spirit.

Miss Lei is a colleague of Amy's hospital. She is in her early 40s. She has deep brown eyes and strong character. Amy has known her for ten years and has always wanted to draw a portrait with her as a model. Amy sat her at her usual desk,Behind her is a pot of longevity flowers planted by herself. She looks into the distance. As the poet said, ‘her eyes are the window of her heart’. Amy wanted to know what she was thinking. I believe you, as an audience, are the same!

Because she usually needs work, she usually draws on weekends. Sometimes a painting often takes several weekends to complete. She laughs and calls herself a "Sunday painter". Of course, this did not affect her love of painting at all, but made her cherish every creative process even more.

The painting was inspired by Amy's top hat. This hat comes from the second-hand market, but it looks very good.In order to match the hat, she chose a floral shirt. This makes the whole look a little French. The whole picture has a pink tone. The eyes of the characters are peaceful. It seems that they are trapped in the beautiful aftertaste of their girlhood. Amy thinks that as long as you feel it with your heart, a small object in life can bring a pleasant feeling.

Her work "Red Wine" won an honorary nomination in the Women's Artist Exhibition held in Fusion Art, USA in 2020. Not long ago, Amy became a member of the Portrait Society of America.

Amy loves nature. People, animals, plants, flowers and even still life are magical creations and gifts of nature. These are her sources of inspiration. She hopes to present the beauty of all things with her paintings and arouse people's attention and protection of nature and wildlife.

The portrait is one of Amy's favorite themes. Amy often observes people around her, and uses herself as a model to create some self-portraits. Through different scene descriptions, various emotions are reflected. This has become a record of the daily life of the artist. Artists like to use themselves As a model, this may be because the person they painted is the person they know best!

The inspiration for this work is Amy's intention to draw one of the favorite things in daily life - red wine.  She feels that the color of wine is deep and mysterious, which is difficult to describe in words. The red clothes of the characters in the picture echo it.On the other hand, she observed the neck lines on her neck .The message of this painting is that although the years have passed, each age has its own charm. We just need to face ourselves calmly and don't be afraid.

Amy hopes to present the beauty of all things with her paintings and arouse people's attention and protection of nature and wildlife.

Amy is often attracted by the state of water flow, this painting takes the painter herself as the model, The cool running water is easily reminiscent of summer. This state is unstable and fleeting, but full of beauty. Amy's goal is to express the texture of the water droplets left on the skin. She hoped she did.

She believes that everyone has fascinating shining points, such as someone with a gentle temperament, someone with a rough personality, etc. It is not a simple matter to make it appear in front of the audience through the language of painting. This requires strong observation and expressiveness, and she works hard for it every time she works.

Every plant was praising the greatness of the creator. One day Amy found a stone lotusI in her garden, green and yellow colors intertwined to form a very special natural texture, which set off each other, so she had this painting. Nature is really amazing and wonderful. No matter how superb an artist can surpass it.

She likes to depict animals, especially some big cats. Because of their courage, firmness, rapidity and charming fur patterns, large cats have become one of the favorite animals of many people. She has few opportunities to observe wildlife in person, so she gets inspiration from watching documentaries about animals, such as the BBC and Discovery Channel. Whenever she saw the eyes of those big cats, she would be moved by them. They were so simple, full of courage and power, that made her want to present this feeling in her works very much. She feels that the Creator is so magical and great, she tries her best to describe them but can’t show their perfection.

It is one of the stray cats in Amy's yard. One afternoon, she found the little black-and-white cute curled up in the sun and dozing leisurely. Its whole body was fluffy, like a ball of wool. Amy suddenly thought that she had a pebble of the same shape! Why not draw the kitten on it?Its shape fits the pebbles so well that it was lifelike and full of interest when it was placed on the slate floor after painting.

Amy usually likes to plant succulent plants. These lovely plants from the tropics like the sunshine on the balcony very much, so they grow very lush. At noon every day, she would watch the small garden. In the sun, these leaves emit dazzling light and show exuberant vitality. Amy was surprised and moved. Every plant was praising the greatness of the creator. One day she found a stone lotus, green and yellow colors intertwined to form a very special natural texture, which set off each other, so she had this painting texture. Nature is really amazing and wonderful. No matter how superb an artist can surpass it.

This is one of Amy's polar bear painting series. With the global warming, the living environment of polar bears is gradually deterioratingAmy painted polar bear mother and son . They play together under the beautiful Aurora, full of family warmth. This is an ideal scene. If human beings do not pay attention to environmental protection, such a warm picture will no longer exist.

Each painting material has its own advantages, which makes the creative process fresh and interesting, full of exploration spirit.

The North American gray wolf has always been a symbol of courage and persistence. At first, Amy was attracted by his cunning eyes. The corners of his mouth rose and his eyes were firm. He must have seen his prey and showed a necessary smile on his face. The stone is triangular, and the overall picture is relatively stable.

Interestingly, Amy lives in a city located in the Taihang Mountains in China, where there is the Tang River Basin. There are many pebbles on the beach. On weekends, she went to look for the palm-sized stones with special shapes. She took them home and painted on them with acrylic paint. Small animals, characters, flowers, plants, and landscapes can all become the subject of the painting, and the pictures are small and cute. Such stone paintings often do not require much time, allowing Amy to use daily fragmented time to create.

This work is one of the big cat series created by Amy. In order to increase the interest of the picture, she made relief texture ,including the background and spots on the leopard, so the picture you see is not flat. You will be attracted by the glittering spots on these big cats, but the drawing process is not so easy. Amy wants to show the beauty, bravery and momentum of this big cat.

She often studies the works of classical masters and derives nourishment from them, especially the works of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. From high school, she began to copy the works of French academic painter Alma-Tadema and the famous John Singer Sargent, who is one of her most admired artists. Amy hopes to create better works through continuous learning.

This leopard looks very young. The artist is attracted by the dazzling light in its eyes. The message it sends to the audience seems to say, "Hey, I'm looking at the future! Let's have a look with me!"Its fur is shiny and smooth like silk. We seem to feel its warm breath across the picture. Once again, Amy feel the magic of the creator and give the artist such perfect materials.
