Schellenberg

SWITZERLAND

Yellow and Black Photography Quote (1).p

“In my works I want to capture the beauty, being and meaning of all things in any of their manifes-tations.”

Lusie Schellenberg is a professional artist from Switzerland. As far as Lusie can remember, she had a strong passion for painting and drawing since childhood!! She couldn't imagine herself without drawing and painting. The first in kindergarten is the best in the competition, then school.

One of the artist's favorite works. She was one of the paintings from the landscape series, thanks to which she received an art grant from Tommy. A palette knife and nothing but it. Thanks to it, a sunny mood and the texture of the forest are created. The color and texture of the oil create the physical presence of this plot. This is a wonderful place, the artist's favorite place for walking with her shepherd dog.

Her works were sent from school to competitions. But this did not prevent her from studying and drawing, draw, draw... She has been painting since she can remember, and during this time she has created several hundred works of art. Her parents supported her in her hobby, and her father took her to art school. From that moment its formation began.

This work is written in the open air. Foggy autumn morning, leaves on the ground. Texture and color are a harmonious combination of earthly colors on canvas. Quick strokes with a palette knife convey the whole mood of this foggy morning.

She read books about the art of Leonardo da Vinci, Renaissance artists - these beautiful portraits, madonnas landscapes and painted. In those moments, she did not exist in the physical world - she was there, in a world of beautiful inspiration.

“She likes to create complex colors by mixing different shades.”

Having an inner aesthetics and perception of the world, Lusie sees beauty in any manifestation of reality. Dirt on the street? no - it's a part of nature and amazing shades of colors transferred to the canvas. Grey sky? no - this is the music of autumn in beautiful steel-colored shimmers.

“The world is what it is. Each person's world is individual, it is unique, and a person's fantasies are also unique.”

In his youth, many paintings are devoted to inner fantasies transferred to canvas sheets in a classi-cal manner. It was realism that attracted her at that time. The main genres of the artist's painting are seascapes, urban landscapes, people and still life. The author works mainly in the technique of mul-ti-layered oil painting, observing the historically established technologies of writing, which contrib-utes to the long-term preservation of the original quality of the painting layer.

Textural oil strokes and the artist's perception of nature reveal the beauty of the place and most correspond to an adequate reflection of reality in its diversity and typical features. The work was created in the open air.

“Art is an expression of the inner essence of a person, his world. His harmonies and what lies on the canvas are a reflection of the artist's world.”

The author's reading of a landscape painted in the technique of multi-layered painting in combination with his favorite manifestations of textural strokes with a palette knife. And again nothing but a palette knife. This is the connection between the artist and nature, manifested in subtle nuances in the nature of the paintings and in its nakedness on the surface.

A first-class art education provided an excellent foundation in the field of painting technology and in-depth knowledge of working with materials. Attention and the key point are the images and the general style of painting. Idea, and how this idea will be reproduced on the canvas. Quality, quality is a very important point. As Ralph Acampora said, "If you are in harmony with the basics, you will always find a reliable route map."

The artist resorts to semi-extraction. to express the mood and pulse of the plot transferred to the canvas. A large smear and mimum of paints and colors-the composition and image of the idea is displayed.

She likes this phrase, and she always focuses on the basics, reflecting reality as it is, with elements of her own taste. So that the viewer, of course, understands what she wants to convey in her work. The same traditional approach to painting was transferred to works with a modern sound. In her works, the artist does not resort to limited stylistics: they can be structured on the verge of abstrac-tion or acquire genre coloring, turning into stories from life.

This paiting shows the irony of life -and the beautiful Jessica is getting old and her life is not in a cartoon, but in real life. And her cute rabbit, Roger, is just a rabbit. What's left for Jessica ? To live in the present day, and look at the past-and not a fairy tale is it...

The use of various techniques allows us to show the deep structure of the worldview of life. The art-ist loves oil paints. It is they who give the richest mixture of shades, meet the idea of an artistic de-sign. And for this there are the necessary oil paints, some she makes herself, it's a fascinating pro-cess.

This is a scene from everyday life, the dreams of a young woman who takes her into the distance.. in front of an open window, waiting for some kind of miracle, which in our modern world we really want to get.. Pay attention to her hands-she works a lot.. we can guess about the life of this young girl and why she wore this beautiful dress... The theme of the 21st century is when there are many of us and you are one...

“All her works are devoted to the manifestation of life in all its forms and perceptions.”

The oil painting depicts a beautiful girl and a clumsy duckling. Wind, cold.. The girl warms the duckling on her chest. What is this painting about? Loneliness and self-doubt are not a reason for isolation. There’s always someone who loves you for who you are . The duckling is depicted larger than in reality-it is a symbol of the inner subconscious and soul. The painting is about emotions, kindness and feelings.

As a rule, a maximum of 6-8 colors is sufficient for different shades. All shades can be made from base colors. She also uses acrylic paints when creating her paintings, they are good at abstract paint-ing using various textures, with relief and mixed techniques. She perfectly owns dry and oil pastels, pencils and loves tempera.

The oil painting is stylized as an illustrative work. This is done to emphasize the very idea of the plot, expressed by transparent strokes on the background and the depicted texture. The painting depicts the sincerity and serenity of first love.

She describes her artistic expression as a reflection of reality as it really is. With her art, Lusie Schel-lenberg strives to "preserve the pristine beauty of existence. "The world has already been created, and something is already happening or being born, it's already beautiful, in any manifestation. Lusie Schellenberg wants her audience to feel exactly this mood, it's a message, which she gives to the au-dience through her paintings.

The concept of the "butterfly effect" implies that any minor action can lead to serious consequences in the future or elsewhere for the entire system and for its individual participants. The painting depicts the passage of time into another dimension and a small butterfly. lying on the floor next to the girl's dress. The artist painted in a special technique, in oil, so that there were transparent layers and the effect of overlapping layers of measurement..

“Layer by layer, she creates her own paintings with her personal story, energy and beauty that she wants to convey to the viewer.”
